can you do gluten-free? what about dairy-free or vegan? how about organic? kosher for Passover? |
yes, yes, yes, and sure thing! if it's something we haven't done before, it may take a little extra time to get it right. and some things are by nature very hard to "vegan-ize" or make without wheat flour, but we promise to try our best. |
how far do you deliver? |
it's free within the greater Dayton and Cincinnati areas. if you're farther away, there's a travel charge of .55 per mile, round-trip. shipping is possible as well, depending on the product. i don't ship wedding cakes but i do ship cookies and cupcakes. |
do you take credit cards? |
there's this amazing dessert I had once in a faraway place and I haven't been able to find it. can you make it for me? |
what are your policies regarding wedding cakes? |
why doesn't your buttercream look like other bakeries' buttercreams? |
can you do pulled or blown sugar work? |
is cake decorating just like that show on tv with that one guy? |
if you use them as a funding option with your paypal account, absolutely. |
i would be delighted to try! |

we make an Italian meringue buttercream, using cooked sugar, egg whites, and butter. it doesn't crust like regular bakery buttercream, but it tastes a WHOLE LOT better! |
working on it! if you need specific types of pieces we're not comfortable doing, we can source them for your cake. |
almost…except in real life, there are a ton of dishes to wash. i've never seen anyone on that show actually bake a cake, either. or make icing. which really ought to be a lot of the whole cake making process, in my humble opinion. it IS all about the cake - and my assumption is that people are going to eventually EAT the cake. so how it tastes is pretty important. |
